Hilferty designed the visitor experience and exhibits for the new PNC Achievement Center.
Graphics feature park users of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, along with details of the plant and animal life, and landscape, found within the parks.

The new visitor center features colorful and fun graphics. Information on the natural history, wildlife, landscapes, and activities of the park system are shared through panels, monitors, and tablets. 
Interactive reveals, flips, and tactile boxes allow visitors to get hands-on.
Maps of the entire park system, along with trail signage and waysides, were developed.
Exterior signage uses colorful design and durable materials to share park information.

Trail signage and waysides, shown here on a trail designed especially for young children and families, are engaging and use materials that will stand up to the elements. 
The sprayground is well used by residents of greater Louisville and Central Kentucky.
